History

SIAT's EC3 Lab (Electronic Commerce, Communications and Communities) has an interest in digital media, which grew to include HD digital over-the-air television after Canada's August 31, 2011 transition from analog TV.

Beginning

  • Built and tried a few different antennae:
4-bay broadband antenna, no reflector
2-bay fractal antenna, with mesh reflector


  • Collected the electronics onto a board:
SIAT OTA tuner-board
